Chinchillas need to bathe every day, while hamsters, gerbils and degus also love baths every few days as a special treat. To give your pet a sand bath, add about 2.5cm/1″ of Science Selective Bathing Sand to a high-sided tray and allow your furry friend to bathe for up to 10-20 minutes at a time. Remove any soiled sand straight away, and change the sand at least once a week.
