Just like humans, some dogs experience stress which may negatively impact their overall health. Stress can lead to an imbalance of the gut microbiome and increased intestinal motility resulting in digestive upset, a thoroughly unpleasant experience for everyone involved. 

Hill's nutritionists and veterinarians developed Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Stress Dry Dog Food specially formulated to help manage stress-related behaviors including digestive upsets in dogs up to 14kg.

Ingredients

flavoured with Chicken; Vegetables: Pork liver, various sugars, rice flour, chicken (3%), maize starch, minerals, rice, dried eggs, digest, dried carrots, soybean oil, ground pecan shell, flaxseed, dried ginger, vitamins, dried beet pulp, dried citrus pulp, dried cranberries and trace elements. Total vegetables 0.9%.

ANALYTICAL CONSTITUENTS: Protein 5.1%, Fat content 1.9%, Crude ash 1.4%, Crude fibre 0.39%, Moisture 78.4%, Calcium 0.19%, Phosphorus 0.13%, Sodium 0.10%, Potassium 0.21%, Magnesium 0.02%; per kg: Vitamin A 19,177IU, Vitamin D3 278IU, Trypsin-hydrolysed bovine casein 250mg.

Provide specific feeding instructions for your patient. 
Daily Feeding Recommendations are only a guide and a place to start. 
Grams are the most accurate form of measurement; cups are estimated from grams. 
Monitoring your patient's condition will assure the nutritional recommendation provides the best results. 
Gradually transition to this new food for 7 days or more. 
Reinforce with clients to feed Prescription Diet dry food, canned food, & treats exclusively. 
Small, frequent meals (3-6 times daily) are often appropriate in the types of cases for which i/d Stress is typically used.

Please note - for customers who have previously fed this diet prior to the inclusion of ActivBiome+ technology, it is recommended you transition your pet to the upgraded formula over a 7 day period.
